AfricaNenda is an Africa-based, African-led nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the development and adoption of inclusive instant payment systems (IIPS) across the continent. Working closely with central banks, financial institutions, and payment ecosystem stakeholders, AfricaNenda provides technical expertise, capacity building, and knowledge sharing to drive the design, launch, and optimization of instant payment platforms that foster financial inclusion.
With a team of 21 experts operating in 11 countries, the foundation supports the full IIPS project lifecycle — from concept to implementation and continuous improvement. Its mission is to enable seamless, affordable, and inclusive digital payments for 260 million financially excluded Africans by 2030.
